   That type of teaching philosophy scares me most of all.

   Sigh. The breast cancer treatment program is nice but it doesn’t begin to address the problem. For one thing, far more women are at risk of heart disease than of breast cancer. Does Blago have a free program for them?

   The problem is that 1.8 million adults in the
   state are uninsured. Most can’t afford insurance or have pre-existing conditions which make it
   prohibitively expensive to get it. All these little piecemeal programs like Allkids and this breast cancer program simply show the inadequacy of Blago’s health care policy implmentation.
   The (our) money is there for guaranteed health insurance in Illinois, especially if the corruption tax we pay to state contractors were not so high and gross waste and ineptitude in the state bureaucracy were addressed.

    It wasn’t my intention to get into a philisophical/religious discussion, but to counter:
    Matthew 7:1, “Do not judge others, so that God will not judge you, for God will judge you in the same way as you judge others, and he will apply to you the same rules you apply to others.”
    People could look up bible verses all day on this issue and feel they are right in whatever point they wish to make. My opinion is that Meeks’ Hades house appears to teach not only a narrow moral view, but leans towards intolerance, and dare I say, bigotry?
    (–noun, plural -ries. 1. stubborn and complete intolerance of any creed, belief, or opinion that differs from one’s own)
    We are in agreement, though, that I wouldn’t vote for Meeks for any office.

    As far I can tell, John Stroger has not resigned his post as Democratic Committeeman of the 8th Ward (why he hasn’t done so, I couldn’t begin to explain). But I suspect he may be real sick for him not to be able to vote for his son.

    As for Meeks, what should you expect from someone foolish enough to believe Gov. Sleazy at face value (you know, the promise to more fully fund education in exchange for Meeks not running for Governor)?

    The governor announced today that he’s giving $1 million to the Illinois Holocaust museum (which is no doubt in Chicago) That just about covers all his bases in money to guarantee their vote. However, the school he bumped up the money ladder has yet to see dime one. Promises, promises, lies, lies.
