Caption Contest!

Thursday, Jun 14, 2007 - Posted by Rich Miller

Come up with captions for each of these two cartoons. Winning entries will each receive a t-shirt bearing the slogan.

You can also choose to put one image on the front of the t-shirt and the other on the back, with related slogans.

Have at it. Let’s raise some more money for charity

“Frown”         “Smile”

  22. - Jeff Trigg - Thursday, Jun 14, 07 @ 1:27 pm:

“How dare you point out that our state Constitution says, All elections shall be free and equal.”

“Ha Ha. I have complete control in the House and will make sure the state of Illinois keeps the WORST BALLOT ACCESS requirements of ANY election jurisdiction IN THE ENTIRE DEMOCRATIC WORLD.”

Democrats that don’t believe in democracy, are just plain evil, power hungry fascists. There is absolutely nothing “progressive” about what the Democratic leaders in Illinois consider “democracy”. Anyone that identifies as being a “progressive” that has not called for Michael Madigan’s immediate resignation, isn’t a “progressive”. They are simply fascist enablers.

And if these so-called “progressives” in Illinois continue to be shills for the anti-democratic party leaders, they will end turning the definition of “progressive” into and even worse jab than liberal is. “Progressive” is quickly becoming synonymous with anti-democratic, anti-elections, anti-free speech.

When you can not trust your leaders to hold free and equal elections, then you should not trust them to be leaders. It’s so simple even a lemming should be able to figure it out.
